Mpegbox started in a college dorm room and has turned into a resource for hobbyists, engineers, auto companies, and auto enthusiasts interested in putting computers into automobiles. Mpegbox is dedicated to developing products related to automotive computing and providing general education for issues related to automobile based computing. Mpegbox is run by Jeff Mucha of Portland Oregon. Jeff holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and has experience in PCB design, FPGA/CPLD development, Verilog HDL, Power supply design, PCI systems, PCI graphics chips, USB development, and microcontroller design (assembly and C programming).
